music. How better to spend a
Bank Holiday Monday?
I know of no other church in such an idyllic pastoral setting, the
village at it’s feet and the Budleigh brook lapping by. It has a
timeless quality, an air of continuity, as indeed the reality of the
passing centuries confirm.
The Bridal View:
This is the first thing a bride sees as she leaves the church after her
marriage. A sweep of open countryside, probably little changed for
hundreds of years. Many of them will be the daughters of families
living in the village for generations.
